We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality patient care in home health or healthcare facility settings. This role involves delivering direct nursing care, coordinating patient treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with medical and regulatory guidelines.
Job Details
As an RN, you will assess patient needs, administer treatments, and educate families on care plans. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
What You’ll be Doing
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care and progress in compliance with agency and regulatory guidelines.
- Report changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Attend required in-service training, continuing education, and patient care conferences.
What You Bring to the Role
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred).
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS may be required based on assignment).
- Experience in home health, hospital, or long-term care settings preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to follow medical protocols and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
